What is and what does the Relocation service include?

It is a personalized service to help you find your new home in Portugal in a safe and accompanied manner and includes:

  • Search for housing to rent or buy according to your profile and preferences.
  • Contact with owners and real estate agencies
  • On-site or virtual visits to the properties
  • Adjustment and validation of lease agreements
  • Processing of up to 2 NIFs (Tax Identification Numbers)
  • Assistance in signing the lease contract

For whom is this service intended?

This service is designed for people who are organizing their move to Portugal with a visa, residency or European citizenship. If you still don’t know which visa to apply for, we recommend you to visit our visa guides.

Relocation step by step

We accompany you in every step of the process so that you arrive in Portugal with everything solved.

1. Assessment and initial video call

You fill out a form and we schedule a 30-minute video call to get to know each other, understand your needs and define a search strategy.

Signing of the contract and payment

Once you confirm that you want to move forward, we formalize the agreement with the signing of the service contract and you make the payment of 50% of the final value.

3. Document preparation

We review, organize and, if necessary, translate your documents to comply with rental requirements. We also manage up to 2 NIFs.

4. Search and visits to properties

We look for homes according to your profile and budget. We coordinate visits and record videos so you can make decisions from wherever you are.

5. Contract review and basic services

We verify the documents of the property, we pay the remaining 50% of the service, we help you sign the contract and we manage the installation of water, electricity and gas in your new home.

6. Key handover and welcome

When you arrive in Portugal, we will hand you the keys in person along with a welcome kit and the necessary details to settle in with peace of mind.

Documentos aceptados como comprobante de domicilio fuera de Portugal

  • ID, licencia de conducir o cualquier otro documento oficial que esté a nombre del solicitante y tenga su domicilio.
  • Facturas de servicios como electricidad, agua, gas, internet, telefonía, seguro de salud, etc, a nombre del solicitante.
  • Extracto de cuenta bancaria donde conste nombre del solicitante y domicilio.
  • Declaración de autoridad donde conste nombre del solicitante y domicilio.

Documents accepted as proof of address outside Portugal

  • ID, driver's license or any other official document in the applicant's name and address.
  • Utility bills such as electricity, water, gas, internet, telephone, health insurance, etc., in the applicant's name.
  • Bank statement showing applicant's name and address.
  • Declaration of authority stating the applicant's name and address.

Documents accepted as proof of residence

  • The proof of address must be from the place where you reside, outside Portugal.
  • It must have your name and address.
  • It must be in one of the following languages: Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Italian. Otherwise, a translation must be attached.
  • The following are accepted as proof of address: ID card, driver's license, utility bill, telephone bill, health insurance bill, bank statement, statement from government authority.
